Adolescence is an upcoming four-part limited series on Netflix where all are one-shot episodes. The show follows the family of 13-year-old Jamie Miller, who is arrested over the murder of a teenage girl in his school (via Tudum by Netflix). The chilling trailer shows the harrowing aftermath of Jamie’s arrest as his family’s life upheavals following the tragic incident. Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne have co-created and written the series with direction by Philip Barantini, famous for his continuous one-shot BAFTA-nominated film, Boiling Point.
Mark Herbert and Emily Feller for Warp Films, Graham and Hannah Walters for Matriarch Productions, Thorne for One Shoe Films, Barantini for It’s All Made Up Productions, and Brad Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner, and Nina Wolarsky for Plan B Entertainment are executive producers of the series. The producer is Jo Johnson, and co-executive producers include Carina Sposato, Peter Balm, and Niall Shamma. Adolescence is scheduled to hit the streamer on March 13, 2025.

Who makes the cast of Adolescence on Netflix?
According to Tudum by Netflix, Adolescence does not only boast a gripping storyline but also a prominent cast who will make things more interesting. Owen Cooper plays the arrested teenager Jamie Miller, the series co-creator Stephen Graham stars as Eddie Miller, Jamie’s father, Ashley Walters portrays Detective Inspector Luke Bascombe, and Erin Doherty takes on the role of the clinical psychologist assigned to the case, Briony Ariston.
