Adam Sandler is indeed a man of indefinite talents. From being a comedian, actor, screenwriter, film producer, and singer, there might be nothing else he left untouched. The American superstar has been the comedy king for decades and there is nobody better to pull these struggling characters into the limelight. In 2022, fans saw him playing the role of Stanley Sugerman in the sports drama Hustle.

The actor received praise for this jaded character who attempts to change his fate by finding future stars for NBA. Meanwhile, it appears that the 56-year-old is once again ready to use his expertise with washed-up roles in a new movie.

Last October, Deadline announced that Adam Sandler has joined forces with Josh and Benny Safdie for a new project. It was revealed that the duo will be writing, directing, and producing the feature film exclusively for Netflix. The title or subject of the movie remains unclear, but the Grammy winner will embody an unsuccessful MLB pitcher. This memorabilia agent takes chances to become successful by playing his cards in baseball.

It wouldn’t be too much to say that this kind of role has become effortless for him considering the performance he has in Hustle. This is the second time Sandler will be working with Safdies after their 2019 film Uncut Gems. If one goes with the raving reviews that this crime thriller received, we can expect something huge this time too.
