“Actually I am a little mad at …” – Kathryn Newton Reveals the Peculiar Reason Why She Is Mad at Paul Rudd
Kathryn Newton is amongst the top upcoming talents in Hollywood today. At the mere age of 25, the actress has starred in some very popular film franchises such as Marvel and Paranormal Activity. Newton has worked with some very popular actors throughout her years. And, The Society actress is all set to make her debut in MCU as well. Not long ago, Newton wrapped up filming the upcoming MCU movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania alongside renowned actor Paul Rudd.
Being a part of massive franchises like the Marvel Cinematic Universe can be a difficult task for a young actor. So when Newton joined the franchise for the upcoming Ant-Man movie, she was a little nervous. However, Paul Rudd did not fail to make her feel at home on the set. But recently, Newton revealed in an interview that she was mad at the actor for a peculiar reason.

Recently Newton appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where they talked about a number of topics including her MCU debut. Fallon asked Newton about her experience of working alongside Rudd. While the actress called it a dream come true for her, she revealed that she was a little mad at Rudd. Newton told Fallon, “Actually I am a little mad at him because I can tell I laugh in every single scene in the movie.” Furthermore, she revealed a hilarious incident that happened during the movie.

One of the scenes the duo was filming featured explosives, including bombs and fire. Owing to all these explosives, Newton was a little worried. So Rudd went up to her and told her that she could do it, but also gave her a heads up. The actor told Newton, “Whatever you do, don’t laugh.” However, soon after, the director yelled ACTION, and Newton could not hold herself back and burst out laughing.
The actress added how the worst part of the incident was that it was not even a funny joke, but just looking at Rudd gave her the giggles. Elsewhere in the interview, Newton admitted that she was in awe after seeing her name in an MCU film. Furthermore, the Freaky actress expressed gratefulness to have a chance to work with Rudd.
