To announce the availability of the third and final season of Sweet Tooth on Netflix, Robert Downey Jr.’s production team and Sweet Tooth’s Netflix squad released a final clip, featuring the making of the last installment with montages of the behind-the-scene fun. “It’s really like saying goodbye to a family”, said Jim Mickle, the director of the show as he called it a wrap for the ensemble of the sci-fi series.

The clip featured the executive producers, the actors, and their moments on the journey. For fans, the goodbye was no less than a nostalgic separation who have witnessed the cast and their adventures from day one of the show. As a result, they were not on board with the idea of parting ways with Netflix’s world of hybrids with Sweet Tooth.

Therefore, after the clip was shared on social media, fans openly expressed their emotions. One user wrote, "I want season 4 so bad 😭", while another expressed gratitude with a heartfelt "thank you". The entire thread became a whirlwind of emotions, as each fan shared their experiences, recounting the emotional journey of the final season. 

One fan said, “It's not written how much I cried! What a wonderful series!”. Another could not help but praise the conclusion, describing it as simply "beautiful". Finally, with a heavy heart, a fan bid farewell, writing, "Goodbye Sweet Tooth 🇱🇰💜". It seems fitting that a goodbye so difficult is one fans never wanted to utter, which is perhaps why they longed for more seasons.
