The countdown for the much-anticipated arrival of Stranger Things season 5 has begun, marking the end of the coming-of-age series. With this season, the countless memories and intriguing characters that have become a part of fans’ lives will also bid their final adieus. The production of this upcoming season faced a lot of delays owing to the Hollywood strikes. With all these hurdles now in the past, the development and filming are ready to unfold seamlessly. Amidst so much anticipation, the filmmaker of the sci-fi series has dropped intriguing hints for fans. 

One of the Duffer Brothers recently teased that the final season is inching closer through a series of Instagram stories. 

Stranger Things season 5’s production is now in full swing

Ross Duffer took to his Instagram to share a series of stories from the shoot of Stranger Things Season 5. The filmmaker kicked off his Instagram story series with a snapshot of the crew gathered in an empty expanse before what appears to be the Hawkins Club. He captioned the story saying “another scout, another day closer”. In the next story, he shared a science fiction club poster, followed by a series of tiny messages on a red background, including the hashtag “#St 5”.

This update surfaced merely two days after Ross Duffer announced his arrival in the city of Atlanta, the iconic backdrop of Hawkins. The upcoming season’s shooting is ready to roll in Atlanta and the filmmaker’s teases reassure fans that the production is back on schedule. But it is not just the director who is delivering these intriguing teasers for the upcoming season. 

One of the cast members of the series has also unknowingly hinted at the filming of Stranger Things season 5 very recently. 

The show’s team teasing the final season’s return 

The story of Stranger Things 5 is likely to pick up where the last season left off- the Hawkins group staring at the impending doom brought on by Vecna. David Harbour, who sported a bald look upon his escape from the Russian prison, recently appeared in the same look during an ice hockey match. He attended the ice hockey match between The Boston Bruins and New York Rangers, where the cameras caught his shaved head look.

This look further teased the fifth season to be back to its filming as Harbour’s character is likely to be in the same “shaved head” look for the final showdown. The upcoming season of the series is set to be a cinematic masterpiece, as was confirmed by the executive producer, Shawn Levy himself. The series will get even more intense in the final season while retaining the inherent warmth and innocence that defines the show.
