If it were not for her passion for acting, Sydney Sweeney definitely would have made a great career in modeling. Apart from all the achievements she has had in the past year, the beginning of 2023 turned out to be really lucky for The Handmaid’s Tale star. In the first week of January 2023, Sweeney announced that she would be the new face of Armani Fragrances. Even though the pictures from this Armani campaign were taken a long time ago; one of the actress’s hair stylists has recently shared the “behind the scenes” pictures of it.
Sydney Sweeney slays in Sahara
Although the Everything Sucks! actress announced her being the fresh face of Armani on January 3, the shoot for the campaign was done way before. According to Vogue, the whole campaign was shot in the Sahara Desert somewhere near Morocco. She did post the pictures from the shoot last year but did not reveal why.
Recently, her hair stylist from the shoot, Glen Coco, shared the BTS pictures from the shoot on his Instagram. Sydney Sweeney looks absolutely gorgeous in the pictures. Through this campaign, the 25-year-old’s two big dreams came true.
The first was to work with Armani and the second being working with the makeup artist Melissa Hernandez. “My makeup journey was really rough until I met her—she changed my life,” Sweeney said, admiring Hernandez’s work.
Besides Armani’s shoot, she completed her shoot for Marvel’s Madame Web, where she worked with another prestigious star of Hollywood, Dakota Johnson. Along with that, Sony Pictures announced their adaptation of the preeminent 1970s erotic sci-fi novel Barbarella, which Sweeney will be playing as well as producing. Moreover, she has signed another film with Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell. Madame Web will release next year on February 16.
