BBC today released the penultimate episode of its hit crime-drama period series Peaky Blinders. The Peaky Blinders season 6 episode 4 was the season’s best. A lot happened in the episode from the past, coming back to collect its expense to the Nelson business moving forward. So let us take a look at the key points.

The new episode finally gave us a small taste of the Original high-paced Peaky Blinders that we all fell in love with. After the criticism of episode three, it feels like we all judged it too harshly, and hope is still alive.
The newest episode picks precisely after the previous episode. The opening sequence is of Ruby’s funeral, where her carriage is being taken be burned. We see wholly devastated Arthur and Lizzie at the funeral and a silently grieving Charlie. Tommy gives Jeremiah the heavy task of lighting the fire on Ruby’s carriage. And thus, begins Tommy Shelby’s path for revenge.
On behalf of the cursed Sapphire
Immediately after the funeral, we are taken into the woods, where gypsies are living. And in the distance, we hear a car stop. And out comes Tommy with his gun, killing Evadne Bardwell, the woman who laid the curse on Ruby.
After killing Evadne, Tommy gets in the car only to be joined by Esme. Esme collects her payment in gold dust. And tells Tommy that now that spirits have taken her daughter, he shall be given something in return.
A son in exchange for a daughter
Esme tells Tommy she met a woman while away from the family. A woman named Zelda, with whom Tommy slept before going to the War in France. While Tommy was at war, Zelda found out that she was pregnant and decided to have the baby. And when Tommy came back from the war, little Duke was 4.
Now Tommy’s kid, Duke, is 20 years old. According to Esme, he’s a gypsy pickpocket who works at the fairground, but he wants more out of life than giant wheels and carousels, and Tommy Shelby is the one who can give it to him. Esme will transfer Duke to Tommy in exchange for riches, considering it a kind of compensation for the death of his daughter Ruby.
Conrad Khan plays the role of Duke Shelby and on his IMDb page is to appear in the last two episodes of the Peaky Blinders. And if Duke survives, he will be an integral part of the Peaky Blinders movie.
Greta Jurossi
After the terrible news that Tommy Shelby has only a year left to work and live his life normally before tuberculoma leaves his motor functions for no good. We all started to think about where Tommy could have received the bacteria.

We feel it is his past that’s catching up to him now. Before France, Tommy fell in love with an Italian girl named Greta Jurossi, as revealed by Jessie Eden in season four, episode three, ‘Blackbird.’
Tommy receives a souvenir image of him with Greta at Blackpool beach one summer before the War from Jessie, who is a friend of Greta’s sister Kitty. Tommy sat at Greta’s bedside for three months when she fell unwell. Greta died of consumption at the age of 19, the same sickness that killed Tommy’s daughter and is currently killing him.

Now, we are no doctors, but there is something poetic about Tommy carrying seed of his own destruction for all these years.
What do you think about Tommy’s disease? Will he choose to die or live a life completely dependent on his loved ones? Do let us know your opinion in the comments below.
