The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle have forever been in top headlines when it comes to the UK’s royal family. Especially following the infamous Megxit of the year 2020, everything between the Sussexes and the members of the House of Windsor has gone downhill. The same has been time and again addressed by the Duke and his wife in various explosive platforms. However, a few claims and their deviations in two different platforms have raised some eyebrows at the credibility of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. 

As reported by a KentLive in its official Twitter account, there have been four such major highlights in the Oprah Winfrey interview and that of New York’s best-selling non-fiction, Spare that do not agree on certain matters. 

What were the points Prince Harry and Meghan Markle contradicted each other 

The first and the most controversial topics that the Sussexes had ever touched upon was the Palace’s bias and racism, especially against their firstborn, who was just born in the year 2019. However, what does not run along the lines was while Markle claimed an anonymous member of the imperial family questioned Prince Archie’s skin color, Prince Harry said something else. According to him, in his memoir, racism, and unconscious bias are two different things.

Secondly, Meghan Markle confessed to the host while showing them their chicken coop, that she and the Duke were already married before the grand Royal wedding took place. Meanwhile, the Duke cleared it off, stating it was nothing official or binding. “..except in our souls”, writes the Duke.

Speaking of another instance as such, was the Kate and Meghan rivalry regarding the first official meeting of the Sussexes and the Waleses. Commenting on the same, Markle had affirmed in the Netflix Docuseries that the formality which they showcased on the outside also kind of prevailed on the inside. Which, Prince Harry the Duke wrote, “there was always a discordant note” between the two royal women.  

Last but not the least, Meghan Markle has also contradicted herself by making polarizing comments on the same matter. While talking about the photoshoot post-Prince Archie’s birthday, Markle had revealed to Winfrey that they were not asked for a shoot. However, upon being asked of the same in the Netflix bombshell docuseries, the same Duchess claimed that there was already a pressure of media hounding over the then newborn.
