‘3 Body Problem’: ‘Game of Thrones’ Creators Overcome Longtime Hatred, as Netflix Serves a Perfect Trailer for New Sci-Fi Drama
For the last few years, Netflix has been on a roll with its additions to its library. From live-action adaptations to true crime documentaries, they have given audiences everything they wanted and more. However, with one of the streamer’s biggest series, Stranger Things, coming to an end this soon, it looks like the world’s biggest streaming platform might have something up its sleeve.
With one show going out, Netflix managed to find a way to fill the gap with a brand new show from the creators of the iconic Game of Thrones, David Benioff and Dan Weiss. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), it was revealed that the streaming platform would be adding the sci-fi series, 3 Body Problem, to its vast library. The post also ended up giving fans a release date of 21st March to look forward to.

Apart from the thrilling storyline of a young woman’s decision echoing through space and time for generations, the casting for the show also brought intrigue. Jess Hong, Benedict Wong, John Bradley, Eiza Gonzalez, and more have given the show more hype than most had expected it to garner. After all, it is an adaptation of the novel The Three-Body Problem by Lui Cixin.
The sneak peek given to fans was so good that everyone seemed to forget about the disappointment from the last episode of the beloved Games of Thrones and put the creators back in the spotlight.
Netizens react to the news of Netflix’s 3 Body Problem
Once Netflix shared the news of the upcoming sci-fi show, 3 Body Problem, social media went into a frenzy over how good the sneak peek was. Although not much was given away in the clip, it was enough to have everyone who saw it excited for the new show. Most of the fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts about the new John Bradley project.
Most social media users seemed to be impressed with the concept of the series. However, others could not help but focus on the Game of Thrones connection.
While some seemed to be rather excited about David Benioff and Dan Weiss teaming up once again, others still had not gotten over the Game of Thrones disappointment from 2019.

Although some fans might be on the fence about the duo creating another series, there is no denying that 3 Body Problem seems interesting to say the least. With 2 weeks to go until the show makes its way onto the streaming platform, there could be a few more updates coming out about the series in the next couple of days.
