Netflix has announced the release date of its new sci-fi animation shows The Mitchells vs. The Machines with its official trailer.
Missing Love, Death & Robots? This new show is not the same, but it definitely gives the same kind of vibe. The Mitchells vs. The Machines is an animated Netflix original series, for which the official trailer has just been released. The Mitchells vs. The Machines is about a modern family in the middle of a road trip, who find themselves in the middle of a robot apocalypse. The Mitchells then become the only hope of humanity against the machines.
The show is produced by Oscar winners Chris Miller, Phil Lord, and Kurt Albrecht. Michael Rianda, who wrote and creatively directed Gravity Falls, will be the director of The Mitchells vs. The Machines, which will feature the voices of many actors. Oscar-winning Olivia Colman, comedian Abbi Jacobson, The Good Place’s Maya Rudolph, and many more talented and experienced artists will work for The Mitchells vs. The Machines.

Here’s the official description:
“A quirky, dysfunctional family’s road trip is upended when they find themselves in the middle of the robot apocalypse and suddenly become humanity’s unlikeliest last hope.”
The Mitchells vs. The Machines will release on April 30th, not making us have to wait for much more. As we said at the beginning of the article, this show looks like the perfect alternative for Love, Death & Robots for the time being.
