From introducing us to the absolute nightmare that is Jamie Campbell Bower in an octopus-esque costume to proving that the sky is the limit even for a web series if it is cooked just right, the blessings that Stranger Things has bestowed upon the audiences are too many. However, as it edges towards the final curtain drop, the series seems to be feeling a tad bit more generous, so much so, that it supposedly has a Miley Cyrus-sized wrecking ball prepared for its fans.

The reports about Hannah Montana herself gracing the grounds of the Stranger Things sets have caused a metaphorical fire on the internet. While fans did have their seat belts on while moving towards Season 5 given the past tricks that the Duffer brothers have pulled, there is only so much that can prepare you for a supposed cameo by Miley Cyrus on Stranger Things Season 5.

There have been no official confirmations as of yet, but given that the series has been cherry-picking Hollywood's top soldiers since last year to make sure the season has abundant real estate on the monumental cinema moments wall, this does not seem too farfetched. Moreover, this is not the first time Miley Cyrus' name has come up surrounding the series. 

With the plot already being as thick as it is, there was only one acceptable way for pop culture fanatics to react to this news: by going absolutely feral.

While the concept of odds being in the favor is something more along Miley Cyrus' ex husband's forte, at this moment it is Cyrus' fans who could not want more for it to be true. Despite the lack of any clue regarding what her character was going to be, there seemed to be no two opinions about her playing an antagonist on the show. More specifically, Vecna.  

From editing the Stranger Things poster to scratching their heads about why Vecna was recasted, a majority of the fandom was sure that Miley Cyrus is going to be Vecna in Stranger Things Season 5. And as to what her character arc was going to be, some fans quipped in innovative ideas like chopping the Upside Down with her teeth.

Regardless of the blockbuster news, fans could not wrap their heads around how Miley Cyrus would fit in the show, leading to an outcry of "random" in the comments.

Whether she plays a villain or not, this rumor of Miley Cyrus' appearance on Stranger Things Season 5 has perked up many ears.
