The leading streaming service is planning to release 10 episodes in the first season. After evaluating the viewership data and show’s performance, Netflix might also order another season. Though we should also state that the streamer had planned to release the adaptation as a limited series. This means that the new project would only have one season.

That has changed though as the cast and the crew are now planning to tell more about the world of Spike Spiegel. They are planning to focus on a different villain in each episode similar to the anime.
