The Witcher is one of those stories that has balanced characters. Male characters and female characters are almost equally powerful in their areas of expertise. However, there are two main characters that stand out because of their powers and their constant fights throughout the story. They are Yennefer of Vengerberg and Princess Cirilla of Cintra. Throughout the Netflix show, the viewers witnessed the capacity of their inherent powers.
In the Netflix drama, Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer of Vengerberg, who is trained by Tissaia, is a powerful sorceress, while Freya Allan’s Cirilla has mysterious powers and The White Wolf has trained her. So, now, the question remains: Who among Ciri or Yennefer is stronger?

Throughout the series, the viewers have seen Henry Cavill‘s strength as Geralt of Rivia, the Witcher. Ciri and Yennefer complemented his powers and helped him along the way. But when it comes to measuring the strength of Yennefer and Ciri, there are some aspects that one needs to look at.
One of the main reasons everyone was looking to possess Ciri was because she had Elder Blood in her veins, which made her extremely powerful. Being a child who had an immense amount of power makes her more dangerous. Additionally, Ciri was also exposed to the impact her blood had by Vesemire when he showed her the flowers bloomed by her blood. This incident gave Ciri more confidence in her power and boosted her desire to explore more about the roots of her power.
While finding herself, she gave glimpses of her power at the very beginning of the show where she was running to save her life. As Cahir tried to catch her, Ciri screamed, which broke the surface of Earth. It opened a portal for the monsters. However, she was not aware of her own powers until Triss figured it out.
Her capacity to hold a ton of incredible abilities could take anyone down. Interestingly, she was driven by the inner fire, which made her even more dangerous.
Trained under the guidance of Tissaia de Vries, while becoming the duo fans loved the most, at Aretuza, Yennefer was a talented mage. Her attitude as a mage was extremely and effectively incredible. From hating Aretuza to getting ready to sacrifice her own life to save it, Yennefer embarked on a tough journey. Throughout the 3 seasons of the show, the viewers got the actual picture of her expanding powers, both internally and externally.
The amount of knowledge about magic and the powers she carried was directly reflected in her actions. Many times, she proved to be the savior of Ciri as well, with this unapologetically strong attitude as a mage. She even used the forbidden fire magic during a fight and, surprisingly, survived. However, after the fight, she lost her power. But this showcased the utmost strength of the character.
One of the most powerful abilities Ciri possessed was her teleportation. Her ability to see visions could incredibly help tackle any attack that might come her way. This ability proved to be useful for her as it made her the only one to know the truth. Meaning, no normal person could access her vision, not even Geralt.
When Ciri was living with the White Wolf at Kaer Morhen in the realm of Kaedwen, she had a vision of a monster dragging her toward it. Although she tried to figure it out on her own, she ultimately told Geralt. With her gut feelings, Cirilla drove Geralt to the place from where she felt the pull. As fans know, the Witcher fought the monster and killed it.
This ability to see the future helped her throughout the course of three seasons. Ciri’s enemies were drawn to her due to her unpredictable visions, making her one of the most powerful characters in the entire saga.
Yennefer was the character who did not delay in responding to the attackers. She was incredibly fast, which left her enemies with no time to respond. Moreover, she could also use her mobility in battle so that she could bridge the gap between her and her adopted child, Cirilla. For instance, in the third season, Yennefer provided Geralt with his sword while saving Ciri from Rience’s attack.
Her hasty reflexes became her greatest strength in her survival.

What makes them both weak?
While there were great powers in both the female characters, there was one common thing that might make both of them weak. That was their inability to fight against each other. Since Yennefer and Geralt sorted their issues, Ciri became her daughter. Despite trying to sacrifice Ciri in the second season for her own selfishness, the third season saw Yennefer devoted to Ciri’s protection.
