Netflix is a joke is the first live comedy fest the streaming platform has organized. It has brought celebrity comedians, actors, shows, and artists to an affordable public stage. In this eleven-day event, Netflix hired a lot of indie artists too, providing them with a stage and an enthusiastic audience to shine. It’s a treat for the audience, as even if they can’t attend the shows, they still get to watch them online. There are going to be 250+ live shows, yes that was read correctly, 250+.

In a huge comedy event like this, celebrity banters are bound to happen. The crowd went ham laughing at the show when Better Call Saul star, Mr. Bob Odenkirk slapped David Cross across the face. Will Smith’s infamous slap mocked

Will slapped Chris Rock, who was hosting the 2022 Oscars, because Chris made a joke about Will’s wife, Jada, calling her a G.I Jane 2. Jada’s inability to grow hair because of her condition, Alopecia, got Will offended. By comparing Jada to G. I Jane, Chris was calling her bald. Will walked up the prestigious Oscar stage and planted a tight slap on Chris’s cheek. We could hear the gasps from the audience as it happened. Will Smith’s slap on Chris Rock had to send a wave of memes throughout the internet. While the shock consumed everyone at the start, it was soon realized that Will was in the wrong and he was suspended from the Oscars for 10 years.
