A good case study can be drawn from the example of the Oscar-winning movie, The Brutalist, in the name of Adrien Brody. The accoladed piece of cinema had a budget of only $10 million, demonstrating that quality can be achieved regardless of representational extravagance. Leaving The Electric State struggling in its stead, with the disconnect between and cinematic success, the sci-fi flick is left justifiably trodden due to its lackluster reception.

The audience, being ever-honest, ironically being in light of being unblinded by the star-studded casting, has been one of the main sources of fuel to the fire of the new movie's unfavorable reception.
