Suits' renaissance was a big example of what the power of word-of-mouth can achieve. Not to say that it was not one of the most iconic shows and does not provide binge-worthy indulgence to fans. But this could not have been the sole reason for the show trending on Netflix four years after its end, especially considering it only enjoyed middling success during its initial run. Nonetheless, it did become America’s most-watched show for weeks, and Netflix is planning to revive that frenzy on its platform, again.

Following the major surge in viewership of the show, Netflix is bringing the Meghan Markle starrer to its full form on Netflix, inviting viewership in droves yet again.

Suits found a home on Netflix in 2023. Shortly after its debut on the platform, the show was pushed to the top of Nielsen's streaming chart, holding a comfortable spot there for twelve weeks. However, there was one problem. Netflix had only acquired eight seasons of the legal drama and not the final one. Nonetheless, according to What’s on Netflix, season 9 of Suits will be available for streaming on Netflix from the first week of July.

This good news, however, may not be that special for Meghan Markle fans, as the former actress had left the show in the seventh season itself. Rachel Zane, along with Patrick J. Adams’ character, Mike Ross, got their happy ending in season 7’s finale. Suits’ Ross and Rachel tied the knot and moved to Seattle, though where Markle was really moving to was the royal palace with Prince Harry. Nonetheless, that does not mean she is not proud of the show’s success.

It is hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days”, said the Duchess when questioned about the factors contributing to this resurgence.
