Emmy nominated Millie Bobby Brown has become a household name at this point, courtesy to her guise Eleven in the Netflix staple, Stranger Things. And from being a bloody-nosed, bald headed little girl to the dynamic and inspiring Enola Holmes in the show of the same name, she has managed to emboss her name onto the industry’s plaque, while not shedding even an ounce of unassuming humility and child-like zest for life.

Brown’s name and fame are often credited solely to Eleven, being branded as the face of the character for the longest while possible,  speaking from a layman’s point of view, but there is always more to one’s craft than meets the eye, especially when it is being carried out with a steady quality over the years.

Matt and Ross Duffer bore witness to Brown’s rite of passage, in a ten-year-long period of time, recalling antics that would ensue on set, but with the antics came the sense of duty, ”As soon as the camera rolls – barely a second before – that silliness vanishes and she just...transforms to Eleven”, Matt Duffer tells Vanity. Brown’s prowess of her role and dedication to refining her skill, both drove her to create and distinguish the Eleven we know today.

While it may be one of her greatest, the once tiny telekinetic character is not her only identity, Brown has made sure of it. With almost ten years down the line and a lot of experimentation, the Damsel starlet knows the world she want to live in and she works for it; no matter how many baby goats it means she might have to bottle-feed for her animal rescue group Joey’s Friends, she does not shy away a bit from getting her hands dirty if it is something that mean an unbridled display of compassion.

While things seem to have taken flight in the recent years, with news of her recent marriage to Jake Bongiovi in 2024, and the successful progression to the finale of the long time running Stranger Things, the panning out of things was not a painless process for Brown.

Millie Bobby Brown’s fall to stardom

Ups and downs are a part of life, every person living is meant to go through them to come out better on the other side, and relatively so as well, were they for brown. Having been a victim of heavy distortion of her image as a child while playing Eleven, Brown’s perception of social exposure was skewed to reasonably great extents, making it difficult to easily let people in on her trust. But Brown sure has made it to the other side, at the end, scathed but stronger than ever.
