No matter how meticulously the Duchess plans her rise in the spotlight, success becomes a secondary achievement since criticism comes with the upper hand. Meghan Markle has been treading on thin ice, and Prince Harry is not immune either this year. The Sussexes had their sights on a year of reclamation, with multiple business ventures and philanthropic efforts queued up. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not slowed down on their teasers for what awaits on the Netflix catalog with a Sussex byline. But each time a project surfaced, the reception flipped the script on their anticipation. According to a new report by Mail Online citing a Californian source, Netflix executives are reportedly “exhausted” by the couple, but they hold Markle guilty in particular. “It’s so much work with her,” the insider stated, adding their “deliverable” was not worthwhile.

Another Hollywood executive allegedly warned about her forthcoming Netflix show comprising cooking, entertainment, and friendships, underscoring how it must be an “enormous hit” to make a profit of their $100 million deal. While influential experts speculated their Polo series could be the final “nail in the coffin” for the couple on Netflix, the conjectures that it may fail to stand out amidst a slew of holiday-themed releases now become a reality.

The Netflix boss, however, over-viewing Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s series may not be in the same boat as the critics.

Why do the Netflix overlords feel differently about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Polo?

According to a report by Mail Online, Miloš Balać, the other executive producer besides Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Polo series on Netflix, was surprisingly praiseful about the couple. They were reportedly “extremely hands-on” because the Prince knows inch-to-inch about the sport. Balać explained the Duke’s insights were significantly beneficial because many executive producers give good notes, but finding someone who is an “expert” on the subject is seldom seen.

About Markle’s part, Balać believes she “prepped” him for the casualty of the sport by stressing how it could engage the ordinary, and make polo more accessible to audiences. However, considering the series talked primarily about the wealthy sportsmen and not the other way around, it could have been that the Duchess’ intentions got lost in translation. That said, all eyes are now on the Duchess’ cooking show since the jury now believes it all comes down to this.
