A Special ‘Heartstopper’ Memorabilia From Netflix Makes It to Cinema for Gaza Alongside Other Donations for Aid
Since October of last year, the world has been plagued by an outburst of conflicts taking over the Palestinians and the Israelis. While some of Hollywood's actors had voiced their sadness at everything that seemed to be going wrong in the world, others chose to stay out of the politics of it all. Now, 6 months after the conflict displaced numerous families and took the lives of many people, the stars have been coming together to raise funds to aid the people of Gaza.
With Cinema for Gaza on a mission to acquire the funds to support Medical Aid for Palestinians, Netflix has joined the bandwagon by putting up a special Heartstopper item for auction.

It was revealed that a signed Kit Connor rugby ball from Netflix's Heartstopper had been added to the Cinema for Gaza auction. With the third season of the show being announced just weeks ago, there is no doubt that the item would probably be sold soon. Apart from that, a question-answer session with Jack Reynor, a bedtime story with Tilda Swinton, and even Mubi's complete Blu-Ray collection were also put up to be auctioned.
With the stars going all out to give their fans experiences to help fund aid for Gaza, the required amount might end up being reached soon. While Netflix has had everyone questioning whom they were supporting, the streamer has managed to show its support without having to say a word. Although all of Hollywood seems to have come together to further the movement, some celebrities like Jonathan Glazer have been going above and beyond to raise as much as possible since the auctions opened.
After all, the director had just won an Oscar for his dramatized true story about a German SS officer who lived right outside of Auschwitz.

Just like many other stars, filmmakers, and more, director Jonathan Glazer also took part in the auction for Cinema for Gaza. However, unlike the other stars, he chose to donate signed posters for his films, The Zone of Interest and 2014's Under the Skin. With seven posters being given by the 59-year-old, it seemed to overtake his controversial speech at this year's Academy Awards a month ago.
Although fans might be on the fence about the creative, his donations have ended up becoming some of the most coveted items in the auction. After all, his posters not only featured his autograph but also the signatures of the film's producer, James Wilson, and even musical composer, Mica Levi.
