to start. There are a plethora of opinions that people have regarding this new
policy. However, the ball is now entirely in the streaming giant’s court. But
people sure have the chance to influence or make a nudge in the right direction.

While literally thousands of people have come forward with their opinions and
ideas about Netflix password sharing, there is certainly someone whose opinion
actually holds a lot of value. Netflix co-founder Marc Randolph has finally
spoken up about this entire issue. And honestly, his ideas make a lot of sense.

Marc Randolph was the first-ever CEO of the streaming giant, from 1997 to 2003.
In a recent interview with Yahoo Finance

he revealed that Netflix needs to be careful when they implement this new
strategy regarding password sharing

Randolph explained.

However, he also talked about how Netflix needs to control how people are
sharing their passwords. As allowing egregious use of password sharing could
very well lead to losses. It is no surprise that people share their passwords

wrong.” “It’s a continuum from one to the other —Netflix’s challenge is finding
that middle point,” Randolph said. he insisted that people who legitimately want
to share their passwords with friends and family should be allowed to do so.
