As fans devour the second thrill of the mythological showdown, the highly anticipated third season of Netflix's hit series Blood of Zeus is now making rounds on the internet. The show's first season, which debuted in 2020, left fans hungry for more of the epic battles, plenty of drama, and heroic conquests inspired by ancient Greek mythology. The franchise, now, inches closer to diving further deep into the world of gods and mortals. Word has it the show can still be stretched for another installment.

Blood of Zeus season 3 is indeed up in talks amongst the season creators. However, Netflix is yet to give a green light to the same. Creators Charley and Vlas Parlapanides have confirmed that they have a five-season plan for the show, and how they are excited to continue exploring the world of Greek mythology. In a recent interview with Inverse, as reported by Yahoo, Charley Parlapanides said they have already planned out what they would “hope to be a five-season arc”. 

The third renewal post the second installment, however, depends on the success rate of the release. Creators are of the impression that if the second strike also garners equal success as its maiden season, they would take no time in gearing up to set plans in motion for the third season.

Amidst these updates, another latest interview has cemented hopes for the third season furthermore.

The release of the third installment, at this point, currently points towards the host of the previous two seasons, Netflix. With season one doing wonders on the American streamer and high hopes for the second gaining the momentum, there is no reason for the third to find a new home, in case it comes into being. Speaking of season 3 release dates, the creators have also revealed that it "will not take that long”. Hence fans can expect a 2025 release as the creators are willing to wrap up filming in "about a year". Regardless, Netflix's most popular original series has continued its reign with its drop latest drop on May 10th. Hopes for its epic renewal hang by the thread as Netflix's another blockbuster anime, Demon Slayer's comeback has raised concerning questions.
