Hardly seventeen at the start of the musical journey of One Direction, Zayn Malik brought his own style and tone to the band. Famed as one of its loudest, the artist revealed how his luck shone over his bandmates in the March 14 episode of Hot Ones. Morgan Spurlock, director of their 2013 documentary One Direction: This Is Us, once gifted each member something unique and he ended up receiving a signed Stan-Lee Iron Man comic.
Pitching it as an “amazing thing” that he still has up on his wall, Zayn Malik recalled the other One Direction members “being super like pissed off about it too because they didn’t get as good gifts”. Furthermore, he also labeled the gift as one that none of his “geeky nerdy friends” would ever get their hands on despite many wanting to. The ordeal comes across as one of the many stories of interactions and of the relationship they all shared during the five years of touring and superstardom.
The appearance also coincided with Malik having just announced his upcoming album set to have a personal tone.
