A little over a year after the Renaissance World Tour ended, fans are already eager to dust off their boots and see Beyoncé perform live again. Earlier this year, the pop star released her country-inspired album, 'Cowboy Carter,' which got fans speculating another tour in the works. After plenty of rumors and excitement, Beyoncé’s publicist has finally stepped forward to clear up the truth behind the anticipated tour.

On X, Pop Tingz recently posted a report from Hits Daily Double claiming that Beyoncé is planning a massive tour beginning with her halftime performance at the NFL Christmas Game. Beyoncé’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, responded to the rumors on the platform, writing, “Untrue.” She followed up by saying, “Nothing to report here. Whenever there is any news, you will hear it directly from the source first".

The 'Cowboy Carter' tour rumors have been around ever since the album dropped. Even Beyoncé’s longtime collaborator, The-Dream, who worked on 10 of the album's 27 tracks, teased the idea of a tour. He celebrated the release of 'Cowboy Carter' on X, posting, "This tour bout to B' Incredible!" but quickly took the post down. Even Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, who is known for shutting down rumors about her daughter, fueled the rumors by liking an Instagram post that claimed the tour would kick off just one week after the album’s release.

After Beyoncé’s publicist's clarification, fans are now feeling a bit torn about whether the tour rumors were truly baseless all along.

Beyoncé’s publicist dashed fans’ hopes with the tour news

In September, some insiders told The Sun that Beyoncé had around five dates lined up for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London, with additional locations reportedly in the works. This news sent fans into a frenzy on social media. But now that Yvette Noel-Schure has shut down the rumors, fans' hopes of seeing Beyoncé live anytime soon have seemingly crushed again. "Ms. Yvette don’t play," warned a fan.

Meanwhile, some fans were actually relieved the tour would not be happening, since they simply did not have enough fund to buy tickets.

The Renaissance World Tour took four years to plan and pull off. Meanwhile, it has only been six months since 'Cowboy Carter' was released. So, by the numbers, it does not look like there is much chance of a tour happening for it this soon. But it is also unclear if a 'Cowboy Carter' tour was already in the works during Renaissance's preparations. If not, fans might have to wait longer to see Beyoncé perform live again.
