Now, Grimes has turned the tables on her ex by suggesting that if Swift turned “Republican”, she would be “unbeatable” as a candidate.

It is equally possible she was merely joking and was being sarcastic. This did not stop the shocked X users from ridiculing the statement. However, there were those who felt that there was some truth to her statements.
