Ye, aka Kanye West, is getting ready to drop his first solo album since 'Donda' in 2021. He announced it on Instagram back in September, and since then, the album’s snippets have been doing a great job of building up the hype for Ye's anticipated resurgence. This new album will also be entirely produced by him, as per reports, with just a few people helping out with mixing and fine-tuning the details. However, the rapper is now drawing inspiration from a completely different artist’s catalog—someone he shares a strong connection with— Future.

Ye recently previewed a remix of Future's track, while adding a nod to President Donald Trump, with whom he shares a unique history as well.

Ye recently gave fans a little taste of his ‘Bully’ tracks at a listening event in Japan and also hinted at another collaboration with Future and Metro Boomin coming soon. In one clip, he was seen debuting his unreleased remix of Future's 'LIL DEMON' from Mixtape 'Pluto'. In the clip, some of the track's lyrics was also teased, including a line, “You know there’s not enough campaign on Donald Trump.” Ye also premiered his version of Future and Metro Boomin's ‘Magic Don Juan’ off their joint LP 'WE DON'T TRUST YOU'.

Along with his remixes, Ye debuted other tracks that might appear on his upcoming album 'Bully,' including one where his daughter North West raps over the classic track from a band that recently filmed a music video with the ‘Graduation’ creator. However, Ye’s mention of Trump has once again put their friendship in the spotlight. Ye has always been pretty upfront about supporting Trump, and the president has returned the favor as well, praising Ye on more than one occasion.

In fact, Trump once even wished Ye could be his right hand, helping to bring the country together.

Last year, Alyssa Farah Griffin, the former White House communications director, shared a wild story about Donald Trump's idea of "national unity." On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Griffin explained that Trump wanted Ye to perform a church service right on the White House lawn. But, unsurprisingly, his staff was not on board. They thought it was a stretch and not the best way to bring people together.

Alyssa Griffin remembered the moment and said, "We were like, 'Not the time or place, sir.'" Trump also made sure to call out Ye’s “good heart” last year and even got down to his tracks amid copyright controversies. And now, with Ye throwing a shoutout to Trump, it is pretty clear to everyone that their support for each other runs deep.
