Ye Solo Album? Reports Hint ‘Vultures 3’ Is on Halt for a Special Project After Korean LP

Amidst the mounting legal troubles and ailing health of the ‘Vultures’ rapper aka Kanye West, the one silver lining has been the victory lap he is running on with the second volume’s release. As fans anticipate the final installment, the Atlanta rapper is savoring his global acclaim, with a special emphasis on his Asian audience, particularly after the sold-out LP in Korea. However, recent reports suggest that fans might want to shift their attention from ‘Vultures 3’ for the moment, as hints of a new solo album are picking up steam.

While a solo Ye performance this year was already on fans' wish lists, the recent buzz about a solo album might just be the real highlight.

The NFR Podcast on X recently spotlighted a statement from Channel Candy’s CEO, who collaborates with Ye on his elaborate listening events. After his recent sold-out listening party in Goyang, South Korea, which received an all-consuming reception, the Atlanta rapper is considering hosting another event in October to match the Korean LP’s success. However, the biggest news is the hints suggesting the inspiration from Goyang Gongyeon could be channeled into Ye’s “new album,” like a brief intermission from ‘Vultures’.

The report also revealed the rapper's renewed commitment to staging more performances and releasing new albums. It is suggested that Ye’s upcoming album might be a Channel Candy exclusive, given their role in hosting his recent performance. Additionally, teasers for the October event indicate it will be on a larger scale than his previous ‘Vultures’ listening experiences.

Ye’s debut in Asia with the Korean listening party exceeded expectations, setting high hopes for his next performance in China. Originally slated for September 7, the event in China was postponed to September 15 because of some setbacks. Further complications were courtesy of Taylor Swift fans, but GoodAssSub on X recently confirmed that the event is still on. The only change is that it might feature a solo performance by Ye rather than the expected duet with Ty Dolla $ign.

Ye had initially announced the rescheduled date on Instagram but later removed the post, sparking concern among fans that the listening party might have been canceled. However, the latest update confirms the event will still take place in Haikou City, Hainan province. The new poster’s omission of the $ sign from the ¥$ symbol suggests Ty Dolla $ign will not be part of the event. While Ty Dolla $ign will be involved in ‘Vultures 3,’ his participation in the upcoming Ye album, which is ready to pick up the frenzy, is not yet guaranteed.
