Ye, aka Kanye West, has built a reputation over the years for being totally and unapologetically out there. And fans have loved him for it—well, most of them, anyway. From interrupting Taylor Swift’s VMA speech and running for president to making antisemitic comments and walking around barefoot across Europe, the rapper has made sure to grab attention just about every time he steps out. And now, after all the headlines, he is finally stepping up to own it.
Ye recently spoke out about being labeled "crazy" and shared his thoughts on where that narrative came from.

Ye has recently made another appearance on Justin LaBoy’s The Download podcast. A teaser for the episode that has been going viral on social media shows LaBoy asking Ye why people seem to think he is "crazy". Surprisingly, Ye owned up to it, admitting that the whole narrative came from him "doing crazy --it" in public. The podcaster chuckled at Ye’s response, exclaiming, "Accountability in 2025!." This came right after yet another outrageous moment for the rapper at the 2025 Grammys.
At the ceremony, Ye showed up with his wife, Bianca Censori, in their usual bold and risqué style. Once again, Ye brought his wife dressed in sheer clothing, which reportedly even led to the cops having to escort them out of the event. Apparently, Ye was not even invited to the ceremony. He just strolled onto the red carpet, posed for the cameras, shocked everyone with his wife’s outfit, got back in his car, and left. His brief appearance at the ceremony came following, two days of his non-stop weird and confusing moves on social media.
Ye recently unfollowed everyone on social media—except for one person— his long-time rival, Taylor Swift.
Ye went for another wild move just before the Grammys
Ye and Taylor Swift have had their fair share of drama over the years, which began with Ye’s love for crashing people's acceptance speeches at award shows. But recently, it seemed like Ye might have finally put their long-running feud to rest—at least for a moment. He came back to Instagram after deleting it for a while, as he often does, to thank the Grammys for nominating his song 'Carnival.' And to everyone’s surprise, he tagged Swift in the photo, which he later deleted.

This move was seen as a quiet acknowledgment of their history of notorious award show drama. Ye then showed off in a series of Instagram Stories that he was not following anyone but the 'Bad Blood' singer. However, his change of heart did not last long. He quickly unfollowed her again. Considering the way Swift dodged any possible run-in with Ye at the Grammys this year, it does not seem like there has been any real reconciliation between the two. And those posts might just have been more of the 'crazy' Ye and Justin LaBoy were joking about.
