Fat Joe recalls Ye's torturous ways at work

Recently speaking to the GQ magazine, Fat Joe recalled his 2012 collaboration with Ye on 'Pride N Joy'. The rapper had wanted to work on the track after hearing it, and the singer went all in. However, the recording process was grueling, with the rapper making Fat Joe repeat his verses over 300 times. Fat Joe's team, as he said, grew frustrated, wanting to confront him. "My guys wanted to beat him up," Fat Joe revealed in the interview.
Despite the challenging process, Fat Joe loved the finished product and admired the rapper's perfectionism. He considers Ye his favorite rapper and a tough but honorable collaborator. Fat Joe respects his creative vision and compares his own music to Ye's. "He’s my favorite rapper of the last half of my whole career," confessed the singer. He remains a fan, supporting the rapper's work and acknowledging his innovative approach.
This was not the first time Fat Joe made his admiration for the 'Vultures' rapper public. Before revealing the tough tensions at work, he had said all of his love for Ye.

Moreover, he also praised his genius and encouraged others to stand by him, citing his iconic song 'Jesus Walks' marking his admiration of the rapper.

Apart from that, Fat Joe also shared his personal experience with Ye, describing him as a "normal" person who can get as real as he can be when they are together.
