The music industry is currently blooming with new releases by newfound fan favorites. However, there is no denying that the millennial stars still reign supreme. The likes of Taylor Swift and Ye, formerly called Kanye West, have set the bar high, and their legendary rivalry serves all the more cherry on top. Now, with Sabrina Carpenter's latest move, comes a new wave of fan dispute. Did she take a page from Swift's playbook or follow in Ye’s footsteps? Fans have been at loggerheads in deciding on the true influencer. 

Sabrina Carpenter's latest drop with took over the charts aggravated by her mentions of “gay awakening is once again making waves in the market. Sabrina Carpenter has released a new digital version of 'Short n' Sweet'. Featuring a bonus track 'Needless to say' for $5. Launched on her official website store, the version featuring the track is now available to download for the next twenty-four hours.

Instead of reactions to her digital version what followed was a field day between fans as Swifties claimed it was Taylor Swift's 'The Tortured Poet's Department' while Ye stands raged in claiming it was Ye's 'Life of Pablo' inspiration that resulted in this move. Although the majority of them were delighted to have this year's one of the most favorite tracks on their devices, die-hard fans of the ‘Cruel Summer' singer and the ‘Vultures' rapper did not hold it back.

Taking over the comments section, netizens decide whose influence it was.

Ye versus Taylor: Who inspired Sabrina Carpenter's latest drop?

To start with the over-the-top excited Swifties, fan reactions flooded by Swifties showcase how staying for so long around the songstress manifested this all. "Taymother taught her well," wrote a fan referring to Taylor Swift, the marketing genius behind her popular albums. Whereas Ye fans took no longer to declare how it was Ye's mastermind that influenced the blonde beauty. 

However, the only point the fans met was collectively praising the album for its grand success.

Nonetheless, the inspiration indeed has a higher chance of coming from the songstress than the rapper given their close acquaintance with each other. While Taylor Swift has taken her stance for Sabrina Carpenter uncountable times, there have hardly been instances where she interacted with the 'Donda' rapper, at least anytime in the recent past.
