Ye’s life is again about to be examined- this time by Goodfellas and Utopia. The bio-documentary, In Whose Name?, which has filmed the last six years of the 'Donda' rapper’s life, has reportedly been shooting in secrecy for a while now. And after a lot of speculation, a first-look image of the project has finally been unveiled alongside its rumored budget, which is said to be $1 billion. According to Variety, the documentary will be presented at the American Film Market next week, to secure international distribution.

At the Film Market, on November 7, the production studios will also screen a promo reel for the upcoming documentary. The six years that In Whose Name? covers have some of the most transformative moments in Ye's journey. From tying the knot again and watching his billionaire status slip away to completely rebranding himself as 'Ye', the rapper has undergone quite the transformation in the public eye. But this will not be his first experience with documentaries.

Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy zoomed in on Ye’s early life as a rapper and his drive to become an icon. Last month, as a clip from the documentary popped up online, it sent shivers down fans’ spines. In the resurfaced clip, Ye was seen vibing to 'College Dropout' demo tracks with hauntingly fiery energy and ambition, making fans wonder just how motivated the rapper was even when he was still a newbie. However, the upcoming documentary is set to be a different story.

Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy showcased the ‘Old Kanye,’ focusing on his climb in the industry. Meanwhile, the upcoming In Whose Name? will shine a light on his downfall and transformation into the ‘New Ye.’ While the team behind the documentary is keeping the film's contents tightly under wraps, given the timeframe it covers, it is a safe bet that In Whose Name? will tackle Ye's biggest controversies in some way.
