Ye Listening Party in Russia: Here’s All We Know about the Rumored Concert
Ye, aka Kanye West, seems to be pulling off a redemption arc at long last. In the last few years, the rapper has faced some of his toughest days in the industry, filled with controversies. Not to say that there are not any controversies now- since it is hard to stay off of those when one is as polarizing and bold as Ye- the man sure has been getting back to his roots, doing what he is most loved for- music and performance. After his blockbuster concerts in Asia, rumors are floating around that Ye might be heading to Russia for a show soon.
A new report, filled with claims about Ye’s plans to take Russia by storm, has recently surfaced. How much truth is there in it, though?

A Telegram channel called Baza announced Ye’s concert in Russia. According to the outlet, the concert organizers have allegedly managed to nail down a new date and location, which will take place in mid-November at Gazprom Arena in St. Petersburg. Reportedly, the organizers have already secured funding, struck a deal with the venue, and even sent an advance to the 'Donda' rapper's representatives.
The organizers, as per the report, are planning to host a fan meet-and-greet just like the ones Ye pulled off in Asia. Ye apparently had his heart set on Moscow, but by November, it would have already started to feel like winter, so the artist decided to go for the Gazprom Arena, which is nice and cozy under a roof. Moscow will have to wait until next spring, which means the rapper might return to Russia again in May 2025. Although the report is not confirmed yet, Ye is definitely throwing out some breadcrumbs for a potential Russian concert.
This year, Ye has paid multiple visits to Russia, which has only fueled these concert rumors even more.

Back in June, Ye rolled into Moscow to join the birthday bash for fashion designer Gosha Rubchinskiy. The following month, he touched down in Russia again, and footage of ecstatic fans outside the hotel where he was rumored to be holed up started making the rounds online, with everyone chanting Ye’s name. Last month, the Mash Telegram channel reported that Ye was offered a jaw-dropping $8 million to perform a concert in Moscow. It was the largest sum put up by “one of Russia’s largest industrial companies,” as per the outlet.
Even though Ye was all in for that sweet payday, he ultimately passed on the deal, asking for more money. On top of that, The Sun reported that some of Vladimir Putin's loyalists made it clear they “don’t need the rapper and his naked woman” in Russia, despite Ye's fondness for the president. Therefore, the odds of the concert happening are quite slim and nothing can be said before a proper confirmation.
