Ye Gets Roped Into the ‘LeBron James Scream’ TikTok Trend by Fans in a Cool Edit
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and NBA legend LeBron James have shared an on-and-off friendship. In recent years, their bond has grown a bit rocky, mainly due to Ye’s ties with Adidas, a supposed jab in the rapper’s track 'Life Of The Party' aimed at James, and the NBA star pulling Ye's episode from his talk show amidst all the 2022 antisemitic controversies. Nonetheless, fans have found a way to patch things up between the two in their daydreams.
Fans pulled off getting LeBron James to throw some love Ye's way in an edited video. Last year, the NBA released a clip of James on their X account. In the clip, the basketball star learned that he was the oldest active player in the NBA and was asked for his reaction. In response, he covered his face with his hands and let out a scream, mimicking the famous Home Alone pose by Macaulay Culkin. This reaction soon became a TikTok meme, eventually drawing in the 'Donda' rapper as well.

In the edited clip, the interviewer prompted The Shop host to "scream" if he loved Ye. What followed was a montage highlighting the 39-year-old's admiration for Ye. However, given that he was even allegedly labeled a “puppet” by the Grammy-winning rapper, the edit only appeared to be a fantasy. Nevertheless, fans had a field day with the video, enjoying something that is probably not going to happen in real life, at least not anytime soon.
Fans once again decided to merge two of the most exciting worlds, sports and music.
Fans chuckle at LeBron James' love for Ye in the edit
One rules the gridiron while the other dominates the mic. When one sings, the world dances along. But when the other shows off his footwork, everyone pauses to watch if he nails the shot perfectly. Despite the two being titans in their own worlds, fans once again found themselves split between Ye and LeBron James. On the one hand, Ye's fans had an absolute ball with the edit, while on the other hand, James' fans slammed GoodAssSub for the concept of the edit.
The edit, nonetheless, had everyone in stitches and they flooded the platform with laughing emojis.
The highlight for everyone was the "JPEGMAFIA drums" bit, the artists who grabbed headlines in January when he was spotted alongside Ye.

Even with speculation swirling about a rift between Ye and LeBron James, neither has spoken out publicly. Yet, this is not the first time that fans on social media have compared the two. With time, these fan-generated scenarios only seem to grow wilder and more entertaining.
