Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was at one point revered for being a triple threat as he reigned supreme in all three arenas ranging from music, fashion, and business. The rapper was on his way to becoming the biggest names in fashion, while also pulling strings in the education sector, as he had not just opened but also vouched for his kids to study at Donda Academy. However, all that has boiled down to the rapper being under a heap of controversies from all corners.

The trouble surrounding Ye more than just art imitating chaos is more definitely impending legal cost, which the rapper seems unwilling to fill, earning him quite the back handed remark from a lawyer.

Back in the day when he was actively and actually executing his plans, Ye had a vision of an education for children that was what he believed more substantial. However, either he has moved on from this sunshine-like vision or has been forced to take his hands off of it, as it is currently embroiled in legal battles. To further add the cherry on top, Ye has failed to pay those showing up from his lawyers, leaving the judge to warn him of a default judgment. The absurdity of the situation has led to Ye being compared to a goldfish by Ron Zambrano, Isiah Meadows' attorney, the accuser, to Court House News.

Ye will likely have to deal with a default judgement if a substitute counsel is not brought it soon. However, as summed up by Zambrano, finding a substitute counsel on such short notice, especially given the unpopular reputation Ye has in the legal field ranging from not ghosting lawyers to not paying them, is a greatly difficult task.

With a glaring warning of a default judgement hanging low, Ye might spring into action. However, the chances of him getting rejected, especially by a good one, is not all that slim.

Ye's boycott goes beyond business, enters legal territory

The episode that led to the ultimate downfall of Ye, when he had only tethered on the edges earlier, in 2022 had the rapper being greeted with shut doors from every which way. While the annulment of the Adidas deal that had made him a billionaire, caught eyes, another hand that refused to hold Ye's was Camille Vasquez, the lawyer turned celebrity who had represented Johnny Depp in trial against Amber Heard.

Ye had reached out to Vasquez to provide legal counsel for his business interests. However, despite having fought a highly risque case earlier, the lawyer chose to steer away from this celebrity case in particular. Camille Vasquez would not be the first lawyer to do away with Ye as his series of tumultuous legal battles range on.
