About a month back, Ye was all over socials hinting at a Middle East pitstop for his worldwide tour, taking up Egypt and Dubai for two big-time shows. But then, out of the blue, an update from X page, formerly Twitter, GoodAssSub, dropped the bomb that Ye and Ty Dolla $ign might have bailed on their next listening session in Egypt. And now, SceneNoise, the concert's exclusive media partner, just spilled that the upcoming show at the Saqqara Pyramids has been "postponed", and not canceled.
The artist may have opted to postpone the upcoming show following the backlash for his absence during the headline performance at Rolling Loud in Inglewood, California. However, the upcoming show, earlier scheduled for April 20, does not have a rescheduled date yet, although one "will be announced soon". With the increasing demand for the release of 'Vultures 2', another rapper has come forward to save the day.
Playboi Carti, a contributor to the first volume of 'Vultures', stood up for Ye amidst the intense pressure from fans for the album's release.

A fan page known as Ye Fandom recently took the initiative to address fans' anticipation by reaching out to Playboi Carti, urging him to convey the message to Ye for an early release of his music. The page urged the 'Magnolia' singer to persuade Ye to drop 'Vultures 2' on streaming platforms. Later, the fan page updated fellow followers that Carti had responded with a refusal, stating "nah Ye do Ye".
The page also shared a screenshot of a prior conversation where they had encouraged Carti to drop his music on April Fools' Day, presenting it as a tactical maneuver to delight fans. Despite Carti declining that suggestion too, fans were too engrossed to take note of this informal interaction between Ye's fan page and Playboi Carti. Nevertheless, with the confirmation that the Egypt show is still on, fans can find comfort in the belief that the glass is still half full.
