Ye, formerly known as Kanye West is one of the most iconic musicians of the modern days. The rapper’s musical influence has left a cultural and social impact on millions around the world. Before Ye became an indispensable part of the glamorous world of Hollywood, he was in love with his high school sweetheart, Sumeke Rainey. This was one of the earliest relationships of his life of which less detail is known to the public. As per PEOPLE Magazine, he gave a shoutout to her in a song called 'Never Let Me Down' in his debut album, ‘The College Dropout’ in 2004.

The lyrics said "I promised to Mr. Rainey I'm gonna marry your daughter". It is speculated that the relationship between him and Sumeke Rainey was over before he became a known public figure.

This was followed by his first high-profile relationship that flourished and ended in front of the world.

After Ye became the newest arrival in the music scene, he started dating designer Alexis Phifer. The two were involved in an on-and-off relationship for six years from 2002 to 2008. Their romance went through some hard days in 2004 after Ye’s debut album, ‘The College Dropout’ came out and made him an instant hit among the fans. Though they made up good, and the rapper was so into Phifer that in August 2006, he proposed to her when they were having dinner during their vacation in Capri.

Following that, the two were engaged for one and a half years, during which Ye suffered the grave loss of his mother's death. In April 2008, the couple broke their engagement but remained on cordial terms.

While Ye and Alexis Phifer had a brief separation of two years from 2004 to 2006, he got involved with TV personality Brooke Crittendon. During their time together, the couple made many public appearances, and Crittendon even attended the Grammys in 2006 with Ye and his mother, Donda. In the summer of 2006, they decided to part ways. 

The aftermath of the relationship did not sit well with Brooke Crittendon, as speaking to Essence Magazine in 2009, she explained her dilemma of living in the shadow of being Ye’s ex-girlfriend, which she felt was unfair. However, she was okay with how things ended between her and the rapper and told in the same interview that she and Ye were amicable.

After his final separation from Alexis Phifer, Ye soon started seeing model and TV figure Amber Rose. They dated for two years, following which Rose was the one who ended the relationship. She even accused the rapper of bullying her in their final moments together when the breakup arose.

In an interview with Complex, Amber Rose said that she only received fame from Ye during the two years and had to endure the pain of the breakup as well. Their breakup inspired Ye to create the album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy', which Rose was happy to be part of.

Ye’s biggest and most famous romance was with Kim Kardashian, which began in 2012, and they also enjoyed a marriage. After welcoming their first child, daughter North, in 2013, Ye proposed to Kardashian four months later in July.

A year later, they got married in Florence, Italy, and they welcomed two more children, Chicago and Plasm, in 2018 and 2019. During their time together, there were many tumultuous moments, following which they filed for divorce in February 2021.

It did not take Ye long to move on from his decade-long romance with Kim Kardashian as he reportedly started seeing renowned model Irina Shayk in 2021. When the rapper went to France to celebrate his 44th birthday, Shayk was also with him.

As per PEOPLE Magazine, an inside source confirmed to them that they were not officially dating, but there was mutual interest from both sides. By August, it was confirmed that their short-lived relationship had ended.

In 2022 Ye got into another short lived relation, this time with actress Julia Fox. They started dating by New Year’s Eve but parted ways by Valentine's Day. This relation was later regretted by Fox, who found it to be uncomfortable and overwhelming.

Julia Fox later said in the media that at that time Ye had a lot of unresolved issues that needed to be worked on, and she did not have the bandwidth or emotional capacity to deal with it.

After his February breakup, Ye soon found love in model Chaney Jones in the same month when they were first spotted in public while shopping in Miami. The pair fed the media’s queries with more public appearances at the LA Lakers games and another outing.

The two were subtle but clear on Instagram too, where they confirmed their romance with emojis and comments. But after they took a trip to Japan, things changed, and they split up in June 2022.

The last woman Ye's name was linked to is his current wife, Bianca Censori. The Australian architect and entrepreneur tied the knot with the musician in January 2023 in a private wedding. Before that, she had also worked with him on his brand Yeezy, and Ye dedicated a song to her called 'Censori Overload'.
