Ye Continues His Spotify Reign With Another ‘Vultures 1’ Track

Over the years, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has become one of the world's more controversial artists. With his rather messy public divorce from Kim Kardashian and his falling out with Adidas, the rapper ended up being shunned by the public for a while. However, that has not seemed to hurt his popularity with his massive fanbase all over the world. While the 46-year-old had dragged the release of 'Vultures 1' for months, it wound up taking over most streaming platforms.

Now, months after its release, a track from the project has crossed another major Spotify streaming milestone.

It was recently revealed that Ye and Ty Dolla $ign's track, 'Burn' from 'Vultures 1', has crossed 100 million streams on Spotify. While it might be some time before the rappers reach the 1 billion mark, the track ended up being the 46-year-old's second song from the album to reach the milestone. The first one was 'Carnival'. Although it might be time for a celebration for most, for the Yeezy creator, it was just a regular day, as it was his 103rd song to achieve the streaming milestone.

The latest streaming achievement should come as no surprise with Ye's album stealing spots on the Spotify charts since its release in February. It might take some time before the remaining 14 songs manage to reach such streaming heights. With streaming playing such a huge influence on the rapper's popularity and recent achievements, fans wonder what would happen if 'Vultures 2' is not released on streaming platforms.

Last year, Ye and Ty Dolla $ign delayed 'Vultures 1' for months because of distribution problems and more. While everyone thought things had settled down with the release of the album on Spotify and Apple Music, that did not end up being the case. Instead, the rapper faced threats of the removal of the album, which gave him plans for his second release. While he did not share when 'Vultures 2' would be released, it was hinted that it would be available on Yeezy.com

With the 46-year-old wanting to forgo the drama with streaming platforms, he could end up messing with his own album's success. After all, the first project had pushed the star to the top of all streaming platforms just last month.
