From Taylor Swift's record-breaking ‘Eras Tour’ to Ye, formerly called Kanye West's provocative ‘Vultures’ craze, this year has been a powerhouse of peak entertainment. Other notable releases include Billie Eilish's avant garde ‘Happier Than Ever’, Drake's chart-topping 'Honestly, Nevermind’, and The Weeknd's sultry ‘After Hours Til Dawn’.

From the shambles of public controversies and a tumultuous dynamic with family, the Vultures rapper has swiftly made his way to the top success stories of the year so far. As per a report by RouteNote, the Yeezy owner has made his space in the top 10 Spotify artists of the year with the most earnings. Ye earned a decent $155,467,255 with the lead streams number standing at 38,866,814,763. His top tracks undoubtedly included 'CARNIVAL', the 2024 anthem of Ye fans followed by 'Heartless' and 'Flashing Lights'.
Although Ye's was the least of them all, he still managed to pull a significant number as compared to his performance in the previous years. Meanwhile, his longtime arch-nemesis Miss Americana AKA Taylor Swift, earned around 200 million US dollars more, amounting to a whopping 327,691,017 million US Dollars with 'Fortnight' soaring the highest in her arsenal.
This comparison was directly between the first and the last of the list. However, there are more who carried 2024 to this date together, if not single-handedly.

Keeping aside the extremes, there were Bad Bunny, Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, dad-to-be, Justin Bieber, and the most thrilling comeback of the year, Eminem formed the middle orders of the trends for 2024. Post Malone, however, who topped the hype alongside Swift for their collaboration, trailed behind, marking his space above the 'Donda' Rapper as the 9th best artist of the year, according to Spotify data.
Although it has been trailing behind as compared to others, Ye's new album 'VULTURES 1' has surpassed BTS on the list, while Taylor Swift remains the top artist on Spotify with 81 million streams, earning over $327 million. Drake, with his diss track, ‘Push Ups’ for Lamar at the top, follows as the second best with 76 million streams and $304 million in earnings.
