Ye’s Anti-Adidas Vinyl Is About to Bring in $500,000 Long After His Split From the Brand
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has a rough equation with Adidas, to say the least. It has been over twelve months since the two parties parted ways, after spending years making some of the most in-demand wearables together. While it seemed that the two had moved on with their individual ventures following the infamous split, this year, Ye made it crystal clear that he was not ready to let go of the beef just yet.
Now, the rapper’s fans have come up with a scheme to pocket hefty profits from Ye's clash with the German sports apparel giant.

One of Ye's signed vinyl records is about to hit the auction block. The rapper autographed the cover of his iconic 2010 album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' with "F*** Adidas" in February. The lucky fan who received the signed vinyl was inundated with offers to purchase it after a video of Ye signing it went viral. And it appears the fan heeded the calls to auction the vinyl and put it up on the market for an ambitious $500,000 through Moments in Time.
Earlier this year, Ye was greeted by a mob of fans in Paris as he was leaving his hotel. He took a moment to meet his fans and oblige them who were chanting "F**k Adidas" over and over. Stepping out of his car, the 'Donda' rapper even encouraged the crowd to "Say that louder," making those two chanting words symbolic of Ye's feelings towards the German giant. This Paris trip occurred right before the 'Vultures' rapper launched into another tirade against Adidas.
Ye pointed fingers at the sportswear company for trying to sabotage him and shared his side of the story.

Just a few days after the Paris spectacle, Ye took to his Instagram to accuse Adidas of “trying to destroy” him. He vented his frustration over the unfair treatment he allegedly faced during his time partnering with the company. According to the rapper, Adidas consistently undermined his creative input and was unfair at severing ties over a morality clause.
Ye also criticized Adidas for continuing to make money off his brainchild, Yeezy, even after ending the partnership. This criticism followed the rapper sharing some startling documents related to Adidas, which were soon taken down by the 'Graduation' creator. But whether or not Ye has moved on from the beef, which apparently is now making money for others, is something only time will tell.
