Kanye West, now known as Ye, is notorious for his unpredictable genius, but a lesser-known quirk is his penchant for indulging in post-concert bliss. Fresh from his China takeover, Ye descended upon his favorite escapade as a country, Japan, discovering a culinary haven that left him utterly besotted. The object of his affection? A humble seafood joint whose ‘jerk chickens’ rendered the rapper moved. So enamored was Ye that he blessed the eatery with his signature approval, a handwritten note scribbled on the walls.

Patrons can now dine on more than just seafood; they can savor a slice of Ye's seal of approval.

Marking his approval at the walls of the Jamaican restaurant, Ye was spotted with another legendary rapper of his kind, Metro Boomin. Taking to their official Instagram handle, the Good Wood Terrace restaurant showed the rapper in all whites, leaving his heartfelt reviews for the place. The food point claimed that their “jerk chicken” marked its space for the rapper and that this kind gesture from Ye has left them all emotional.

They took to thank Ye for his words and promised to keep going the same way, serving their customers. The Good Wood Terrace also took to mention the unexpected second refill visit of the day, courtesy of Ye and his overwhelming support of the place and their preparation. Inviting customers to follow Ye’s path, the restaurant called in its followers online to give their Ye-approved chickens a try in a concluding statement.

The 'Vultures' rapper has a well-documented fondness for fried chicken. Turning a deaf ear to criticism and controversy surrounding his wife, Ye, and Bianca Censori made an unannounced visit to a Los Angeles Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) months ago in August and another in Saudi, with a group of music titans of this era. This is not Ye's first public display of affection for the finger-licking food chain. His love affair with KFC has been ongoing for years on end now, sparking a unique tradition.

The custom of restaurants honoring Ye began in 2020 when he and then-wife Kim Kardashian ordered from a KFC terminal in Paris. Overnight, KFC transformed the terminal into a shrine, installing an honorary plaque and repainting it gold. Fans brought the plate back to Instagram as they saw him continuing his custom with his present beau. Recognizing the Yeezus effect, it is only normal for eateries to clamor for his endorsement like the latest incident in Jamaica.
