Ye’s 2021 Resurfaced Zoom Videos Sends Fans on a Hilarious Ride, Featuring His Attorney and More
Ye, aka Kanye West, could probably have his own Theatre of the Absurd. His antics are far from hidden. The rapper has been keeping the world entertained (and confused) for years now. While it has been clear by now that Ye has always been the kind of guy who speaks his mind, no matter how wild it gets, some of his antics are so out there, that they are almost too ridiculous not to laugh at- even if one really does not want to. His 2021 lawsuit deposition is one of those moments.
In a sneak peek at A&E’s show Interrogation Raw: Celebrity Under Oath, some clips from Zoom calls during a tech lawsuit involving Ye were recently shared. The footages showed Ye going toe-to-toe with the attorney, who tried to stop him from bringing his phone into the deposition. Ye, unfazed and avoiding any eye contact with the attorney, casually replied, “Due to my mental genuisness, in order to focus on this bullsh*t, i need to be on a phone.” And then, the actual deposition footage was shared.

During the Zoom legal deposition, which was part of a 2020 tech lawsuit against Ye- when he was accused of stealing tech to boost his Yeezy brand and launch his Sunday Service- Ye, known for his eccentric accessories, wore a silver mask and refused to show his face, saying, “You don’t have the right to see my face.” Despite the shock of attorney Michael Popok, Ye kept the mask on throughout the entire interview. Later, he lashed out at Popok, who was asking the 'Donda' rapper to explain where he was and what was in the room with him.
Now fans on social media are in complete disbelief over Ye’s audacity and how unhinged his antics are.
Fans in hysterics as Ye turns a legal session into his comedy special
Ye’s humor is way too underrated. The rapper’s unintentional buffoonery in interviews has turned into a goldmine for internet memes. But it is not just about the laughs—Ye’s antics have sparked plenty of talk about his mental health, something the artist has been pretty open about himself. That said, the latest batch of clips has sent fans into total hysteria, and they have been cracking jokes all over X ever since.
Fans are having a hard time wrapping their heads around just how bold Ye is, totally unbothered and going off on the attorneys.

Back in 2021, Ye came to a settlement with the company, where both sides agreed to dismiss the case and cover their own legal fees. But three years after the settlement, the lawsuit is back in the spotlight, all thanks to Ye’s out-of-control deposition clips.
