Chances of Taylor Swift performing at the Grammy Awards

Taylor Swift, having secured 6 nominations, will go neck and neck with Jack Antonoff, Jon Batiste, Boygenius, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo. Keeping in mind that the pop sensation will also embark on the Eras Tour this coming February, there is no corroborating to her performance for the event as of now.

Last year, Taylor Swift’s rise has been astronomical, to say the least. From reigning the throne for Spotify’s Global Artist to becoming the Time’s Person of The Year, she also entered the Billionaire’s Club with indisputable authority. The songstress even secured 4 Grammys last year while breaking records for the Billboard Chart with endless accolades. Now strutting as a power figure for Grammy’s this year again, Swift’s run in credits of honor might fall short of pages but very well may bag the wins as well. 

While it is true that Taylor Swift’s performance for this year’s Grammy still requires a nod, the Recording Academy has already announced the first batch of performers.

Who will perform at this year’s Grammy Awards?

The Recording Academy has declared the initial lineup of performers for the 2024 Grammy Awards and Taylor Swift is not a part of it. As per the reports, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Olivia Rodrigo will set the stage on fire with their lyrical prodigy. All three singers have been nominated for various categories, but one of them takes them all under one umbrella- The Song of the Year Award. 

Apart from this, the 66th Grammy Awards have introduced three new categories- Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album, and Best Pop Dance Recording. The show will air live on the CBS Television Network and Paramount+. Although there is no verification if Swift will perform at the event and enlist her name in the coming lineups, her possibility of taking home the awards is reassuring, given the year of success she has had.
