Kanye West has had some pretty high-profile relationships apart from his marriage to Kim Kardashian. But his romance with Julia Fox was indeed the most unexpected thing that sent tremors through the pop culture sphere. Nearly one year after the socialite filed for divorce from the rapper, the musician publicly moved on with Fox. While some speculated it was a publicity stunt to get back his former wife, their outings and dinner dates said otherwise.  

Now about two years after their split, the actress has revealed the coziest moments of their relationship.

Julia Fox opens up about her short-lived romance with Kanye West 

Julia Fox’s memoir Down the Drain hit the shelves on Tuesday which let readers into her life. In her memoir, the model addressed her whirlwind romance with Kanye West from how it began to its end. She wrote the rapper approached her through her friend and asked for her number. The Uncut Gems star revealed they used to chat for hours and mostly she listened to Ye talking“occasionally chiming in. When he does listen to me, he loves my ideas and thinks I’m really smart.”

This grew intense when the ‘Praise God’ singer invited her to spend New Year’s Eve in Miami. Though she first declined, he sent a private jet to pick her up and her pals. Fox described their first meeting and wrote that the two hugged without saying a word.

That moment made the budding star feel it was the beginning of a special bond. However, soon after that, she realized that they were not meant to be together and felt he used her.

Julia Fox felt like a show monkey when Ye tried to change her style 

In Down the Drain, Julia Fox also recalled her next meeting with Kanye West in New York City. The Grammy winner stacked clothes for her to take photos which left her feeling like a “show monkey” according to the revelations in her memoir. After their dinner date in Carbone, the model found more clothes in her hotel room that did not fit her without a bra. According to her, the producer offered a remedy.

West then shared her pictures with the interview magazine without her permission and later asked her to write a paragraph about how they met. These things made her feel dirty because she felt the former billionaire was using her in a “twisted game”.
