Why Did Wendy Williams Call Taylor Swift “Mean” on Her Show?
Over the years, Taylor Swift has proved to be one of the nicest celebrities in the world. With the singer going out of her way to greet fans and trying to make a change in the world, she has stolen a lot of hearts. However, not everyone seems to believe that the pop sensation can be genuinely nice. For years, rumors have claimed that she could be meaner than she let on, but there has never been any solid proof.
Even talk show host, Wendy Williams, once jumped on the bandwagon and aimed the 34-year-old over her niceness, which confused everyone.

Wendy Williams might be known for calling out celebrities on her talk show. However, in 2015, the host ended up taking shots at pop sensation Taylor Swift. On an episode of her show, the now 59-year-old stated that she believed that the singer was “probably meaner than Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian put together” as she broke the news of the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer holding the title of most Instagram followers.
Williams claimed that she thought Swift was the “Queen of the Mean” and that she believed the songwriter was being “sneaky” about her meanness. The talk show host also added that the now 34-year-old had “her girl army hypnotized.” Although the singer chose not to acknowledge the accusations, things seemed to get out of hand when the media personality took Kanye West’s side in the feud.
The 59-year-old may not have been a supporter of Swift. However, she turned up the heat when the ‘Famous’ beef rolled around.

In 2016, the whole world seemed to be caught up in the feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift. While it had all begun back at the 2009 VMAs, the rapper revived the beef with his song, ‘Famous’. Although it ended up becoming iconic, the pop sensation was less than happy about being called a “b*tch” in the song. However, Wendy Williams claimed that the singer should have “explained” the situation better in a now-deleted social media post.
Everything was blown out of proportion when West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian put out a doctored video that faked Swift approving the song lyrics. Thankfully, the singer managed to prove that the couple had conveniently left out the fact that she would be called a “b*tch.” Although it may be in the past now, the 34-year-old shed some light on the trauma she went through, which surprised all her fans.
