Who Is Jabreal Muhammad? The Man on Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Vultures 2’ Album Cover?
The Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign collaboration has once again kept up with keeping their fandom on the edge and looking for answers as the scheduled drop of ‘Vultures 2’ has gone past schedule. Announced for a March 8 release, no official statement on the continuing delay has come forth although the rappers just previewed its album cover which featured a slight departure from the previous volume’s art, swapping Bianca Censori for a portrait of a man, identified as Jabreal Muhammad.
In a story that goes beyond the surface, the man has a deep connection with the duo and probably represents more than just symbolism.

Hours after the probable midnight drop for ‘Vultures 2’, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign shared the new cover for ‘Vultures 2’ on their social media handles which featured the similar masked persona from the ‘Vultures 1’ cover now holding a portrait of Jabreal Muhammad. Turns out that the man, who also goes by Big TC, is none other than the younger brother of Ty Dolla $ign and the choice to showcase him has to do with telling his story.
Big TC currently serves a life sentence in Northern California’s Calipatria State Prison for a crime he claims he did not commit. Moreover, he stood at only 19 years of age when the ruling went outside his favor, and ever since, several calls and appeals for his release have gained momentum to no avail. Finally, speculation also holds that the man holding the portrait is Ty Dolla $ign and not Kanye West, marking another departure from the previous volume.
At a time when fans are dissecting these details and awaiting an album drop, there also lies considerable excitement for two upcoming events from the duo.
Y$ duo to take over Phoenix and San Francisco soon
A few days down the line, Kanye West announced two ‘Vultures’ “listening experiences” at Phoenix’s Footprint Center and San Francisco’s Chase Center on March 10 and 12, respectively. Additionally, with fast-selling and variably prized tickets, the two events would likely preview songs from the second volume of the album along with hits like ‘Carnival’ from the first, which has gone on to establish Billboard dominance.

In the meantime, fan pages reported the reason behind the ‘Vultures 2’ delay being Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s continued work on the album, in another parallel to the first edition. Furthermore, with the third and final edition, ‘Vultures 3’ scheduled for April 13, fans stand wary of the collaborative duo meeting the deadline.
