Taking to his Instagram handle a couple of days ago, DJ Akademiks took a page out of India's Kerala-born rapper Hanumankind and showed to the world his latest song 'Big Dawgs'. “Did a rapper from India just drop the song of the summer? Hanumankind might be the one of them ones,” he wrote, offering the rapper his token of approval, unlike his usual tendency to criticize and throw merciless jabs at rappers. The video of the song broke the internet within five days of its release.

Directed by Bijoy Shetty AKA David, who has given his all, the official MV is a true work of art that has hit millions on YouTube. But of course, Hanumankind has to be at the center of it. The rap alter ego of Sooraj Cherukat, Hanumankind, rose to fame with his debut performance at a festival in NH7 and the release of his extended play, ‘Kalari’. With evolution and timelessness at the center, his music runs along a dynamic, boundary-pushing force in the independent artist scene.

Hanumankind's popularity surged significantly since his feature in Bijoy Shetty's music video ‘Big Dawgs’. Part and parcel of the job, the collaboration has exposed him to a broader audience, catapulting his name into the spotlight. His unique rap style and charisma, which resonated with his listeners, led to a substantial increase in his fan base and recognition within the music industry.
