While Kanye West Remains Inactive on Elon Musk Owned X, CEO of X Corp Explains Why
As the king of stepping on too many toes, Kanye West has been shown the door a lot in recent times. From a fallout with Adidas over Yeezys to losing some of his many homes, the rapper is going through tough times. But one place from where his exile had recently ended was Elon Musk’s Twitter, now called X. This news caused his loyal fans to rejoice like it was the 4th of July while they waited to welcome him back. Instead, all they got from West’s page was resounding silence.

After being reinstated to the platform back in July, fans of the ‘Donda’ rapper were expecting him to go back to infamously tweeting his thoughts. But in an interview with CNBC Television, CEO Yaccarino made a bombshell revelation that Ye hasn’t actually “rejoined the platform yet.” Although she went on to say that “he is planning to do so”, her statement came as a shock to fans who assumed that the rapper had already returned.
When West’s X account made a comeback last month, all his previous posts had disappeared. Along with the posts, his following list had also been emptied out. It seemed like the father of four was foreshadowing a fresh start with the platform, devoid of his previous shenanigans.
As fans wonder when the ‘Donda’ rapper will break his silence, another thing that Yaccarino claimed has caught people’s attention. In an intriguing statement, she revealed what West will and will not be allowed to do on the platform when he is back.

One thing that most surprised X users was the gold-tick Kanye West’s account was flaunting after being reinstated. Considering the serious nature of the comments that had caused his removal, many wondered whether he should have been allowed back in the first place. In the interview, Yaccarino also reiterated that Ye will have to “operate within the very specific policies” they have established.
For some, the fact that Elon Musk even cited West to be an inspiration to him points to the speculation that the rapper may enjoy preferential treatment. But through her statement, Yaccarino refuted that saying that X’s team will monitor his as well as all other accounts “all day every day.”
