Taylor Swift’s record-breaking album

The MTV Video Music Awards are no stranger to The Eras Tour’s hitmaker. She has swept 14 of those awards to her name. Moreover, with the roaring success of her ongoing sixth concert, the ‘Shake It Off’ singer will most probably add more to her name. The Pennsylvania native has bagged eight nominations this year alone. While fans may be praying for her to win an award, they might even get a chance to be seated next to her as a VMA seat filler. Importantly, just a year ago, at the same awards, Swift announced her tenth studio album, ‘Midnights.’

Going on stage to collect her award for the Video of the Year 2022, the ‘Love Story‘ singer said, “My brand new album comes out October 21.” Taking her fandom by storm, she revealed how the songs would be covering 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout her life. “Meet me at midnight” was her message. 

While her announcement was coupled with the joy of winning an award, the singer is known for her singing as well as songwriting prowess.

Taylor Swift writes her discographies 

One of the major highlights of the American singer’s albums is that she writes all of them on her own. Apart from a few cover songs and two guest features, the American singer wrote all her songs in her discography. This was something that left the famous comedian, Andrew Schulz, in awe too.
