Kanye West might be one of the most controversial rappers, but there is no denying that the man is a lyrical genius. While it may be true that even geniuses have bad days, West seemed to take things a little too far when his ex-wife Kim Kardashian started dating SNL comedian, Pete Davidson. Right since their relationship began in late 2021, the rapper made sure to throw shade at the comedian every chance he got.

But one of the lighter jokes that he made left a lot of people snickering. In light of a tattoo that Davidson shared on his social media, the 24-time Grammy winner gave him a new nickname, “Hillary Clinton’s ex-boyfriend.”

Back in 2022, Kanye West put Pete Davidson on blast for his tattoo of Hillary Clinton. The rapper took to his Instagram in a now-deleted post sharing a picture of Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian. Along with it, he added that he did not know whether Instagram would shut down his account for “DISSING HILLARY CLINTON’S EX BOYFRIEND.” Though the rapper is known for deleting his posts, his followers seem to be quick to take screenshots of it all.

It did not end there. The ‘Donda’ artist, who recently kept it simple at the Milan Fashion Week, even added that he was grateful for everyone who had his back during his divorce from Kim Kardashian. But then decided to throw another jab at Pete Davidson. He urged his fans and followers to “GOOGLE THE HILLARY THING IM NOT MAKING THIS S–T UP”. And though he was not wrong, most Davidson fans already knew about the tattoo as the comedian posted it on his own Instagram back when he got it.

In fact, even Hillary Clinton saw the post and ended up leaving a rather wholesome comment. And it was quite the opposite reaction to the one Ye had.

Back in 2017, before Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian became an item, the comedian had gotten himself a new tattoo of the former presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. As any young, famous personality does, Davidson immediately shared a photo of his new addition to his Instagram. He captioned the picture, “Thanks for being such a badass and one of the strongest people in the universe.”

While no one expected the former Secretary of State to actually see it. To everyone’s surprise, she even ended up leaving a comment. It read, “Thanks, @petedavidson. This makes it significantly less awkward that I’ve had a Pete Davidson tattoo for years”. The wholesome interaction between the two personalities left social media in awe while it also hogged all the limelight back then.
