"We are waiting"- Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ Music Video Snippets Have Fans on the Edge of Their Seats
The diss war might be in the rearview mirror, but not the beef. Kendrick Lamar’s most destructive weapon in the entire rap battle with Drake was undoubtedly ‘Meet the Grahams’ and ‘Not Like Us’, released on consecutive days by the Pulitzer-winning rapper. Now days after winning the culture-consuming rap beef, Kendrick Lamar is celebrating his victory with a music video for the very same track that led Drake to back out with ‘The Heart Part 6’.
Recently, some snippets of the upcoming 'Not Like US' music video surfaced on the web. In one of the snippets where Kendrick Lamar was seen smacking an owl piñata, a disclaimer said, ”NO OVH*ES WERE HARMED DURING THE MAKING OF THIS VIDEO”. This was a direct diss for Drake and his independent record label, OVO. In another snippet, Lamar could be seen standing with his high school sweetheart and fiancé, Whitney Alford, and their two children.
