Was LA’s Sofi Stadium Capacity the Biggest Ever for Taylor Swift?
Just last year, Taylor Swift took over the world with her Eras Tour concert. While the pop sensation had kicked off the tour in the US, it has since gone international. With the singer traveling to Tokyo, Singapore, and even Australia, she has managed to achieve some milestones like never before. Although the singer might have had the biggest concert of her career recently, fans have been wondering if she could have reached the feat back at home.
After all, Swift took over LA’s popular So-Fi stadium last year and even ended up shooting her Eras Tour concert film there as well.

Over the years, many stars have taken over concert halls and stadiums with their shows. However, Taylor Swift took it to another level by continuously playing for 6 nights in a row at SoFi stadium. With the approximate capacity coming up to 70,000 per night, the 34-year-old performed in front of 420,000 of her fans over the 6 days that she played in Los Angeles.
Swift could have even slightly increased the number with the stadium having 70, 240 seats in total. However, the pop sensation performed to 96,000 people for only 3 nights at her “powerful” Melbourne Cricket Ground concert, meaning that the Los Angeles leg of her concert tour was the biggest crowd of her career. Still, Australia held the title of being her most-packed concert.
While the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer packed the stadium to the brim, her concert tour did not end up being the biggest to be held there.
Who has played the biggest concert at SoFi Stadium?
Taylor Swift might have been the only musician to bring in 420,000 fans over 6 days. However, just 20 days after the singer’s concert ended on August 9th, it was announced that another legendary band had taken the attendance record for Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium to a whole new level. While the 34-year brought in 70,000 people a day, Metallica had found a way to bring their total seats to 78,000.

Although it meant that the stadium was more packed than it was used to, it ended up being quite the performance. Even Swift’s close friend, Ed Sheeran, also managed to bring in approximately 80,000 people for his concert in September. However, it was never announced if he had made his way onto the elite list of record-breakers.
